It is a Wi-Fi connectivity solution that detects and receives incoming signals from any wireless network you may encounter. This HW2R1 is a smart repeater that helps reduce wireless dead spots in a local area network by multiplying the signal and expanding your wireless range. Note-connect all wired users to the hw2r1 via the wired local area network lan ports in grey. For wireless users, scan for the ssid of the smart repeater and connect. You must be within range of the smart repeater before connecting. Operating temperature is 10 to 40 degree celsius. The Smart Repeater receives the signal of any 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi network and allows you to easily connect to your desired wireless Internet connection, such as a local Wi-Fi hot spot or office network. The signal is repeated locally via a dedicated, 300Mbps, 802.11n Wi-Fi radio, extending your network. Share files and Internet access at the office, increasing your productivity. The dedicated Internet antenna allows for long-range Wi-Fi Internet connections, making it an ideal choice for wireless connections from RVs and boats.
